The beginning,
Fish use their fins to move themselves forward, through the algae onto mossy banks.
They’re not the only ones to walk through water with flippers of their own.


They come from the swamp.
This sink in our now ‘cultivated’ fields.


The swamp has been plugged in. Like the infinity pool, installed overlooking the city of LA.


The place where business sheds suit, and soaks in chlorine.
To then switch on the fluorescent light that turns the water blue.
